Started out as listing a few metaphors/similies for something and then a few started to flow with rhyming so I went back and fixed the first few. 10 minutes later and I had a poem.
Don't expect to see it in public for a while though, these things tend to need some space before they end up in the public spotlight.
On an unrelated note, young Tasmanian portraiture artists should take a look at this link: [link] . Basics is for anyone under 30 to do a portrait of a living Tasmanian (doesn't have to be famous, just someone that means something to you) and entries close 30 June 2009. Official launch should be coming up over the next few months but with uni/school commitments people might want o get a head start (more info on that site).
Pass it on to those that might qualify and be interested - the more the merrier.
